A Benefit Thank-You
border=”0″ /> Last Friday, The Phoenix Symphony musicians put on a benefit concert for violinist Ioana Dumitriu who is battling cancer. It was an evening full of great music and wonderful stories from all involved and a warm spirit of help and healing permeated the concert. When the last note had been played, the event was a huge success with over $27,000 raised in donations to help Ioana pay her mounting medical costs. A sincere and heartfelt thank-you goes out to all the musicians, staff and patrons who participated to make the evening all it could be and more!
Ioana’s fight continues and you can find out more about her story and her treatment at www.mustcuretheincurable.com. Donations may still be made at any Wells Fargo bank location to the Ioana Dumitriu Benefit Donation Fund, account #8811864357.
