Bebop
It’s been awhile but when we first moved into our new pad, we were welcomed by a severe storm which caused our Eucalyptus tree to fall, missing our house by no more than two inches (our neighbors weren’t as fortunate). The result was the collapsing of the fences on either side of us. Below are our views
from our bedroom window on the left and right. It’s since been fixed, to my delight, as I often take to watching the squirrels run by in lieu of writing essays while sitting at my computer desk.
Otherwise, our new place is small but cozy. It’s great being so close to campus; I can walk at my leisure if I don’t feel like hitching a ride on the bus around the corner. It’s great having a Japanese restaurant, a Papa John’s, a grocery store, and a book store two blocks around the corner.
Plus, the kitties like it here, and ironically Niko made friends with an orange tabby whose name is, ironically, Niko. So, needless to say they have some things in common. Thomas just lies around lethargically as usual. He can pretty much do that anywhere.
Here is where I spend the majority of my day!
It is so lovely and so messy.
